Job stress can be define as a kind of physical harassment which cause due to the duties, resources, and capabilities of the employees as the nature of work is changing at whirlwind speed (Beehr and Newman, 1978). Job stress is mainly connect with the physical power of the employee and it makes employees more prone to error, poor work performance, mental health issues, burnout, and ultimately for workplace conflict.
What will happen to the
organizational productivity?
Working stress is mainly
influence with the health condition of the employee and same as the
productivity of the organization. Stress working conditions are actually
associate with the increased absenteeism, tardiness & intensions by workers
to quit their jobs. This kind of situation may be get high cost to the
organization for find new workers. After recruitments, they should need a
training & development about the work roles. Organization should invest
more to this procedure & it’ll be influence to the productivity. The output
between of the training person & the newcomer is also have a working gap.
This is also influence to the productivity of the organization. Goodwill of the
company will be collapse among the trade market. Employees are not willing to
work in the organization. By considering those things organization should be
able to mitigate the working stress (Lamothe, 2019).
If job stress goes unaddressed, organizations pay the price in higher rates of turnover, disengagement, and absenteeism. However, it is important for HR personals to understand how job stress affects employee performance. So that they can identify and support the struggling team members.
Tips for managing Workplace stress

can help employees to cope & manage stress by
- Assessing and enhancing existing benefits
- Creating a psychologically safe workplace
- Implementing a Holistic employee mental health programs
- Ensuring that the workload is in line with worker’s capability
- Managing the available resources
- Building a good communication & relationship between workers and the management
- Clearly defining worker’s role and responsibilities
- Providing opportunity for social interaction
- Giving worker’s opportunity to participate in decision and actions affecting their job
Conclusion
Working stress is high dangerous fact which can affect to the whole organization and therefore HR should pay more attention on mitigating the worker stress at the organizations.

ReplyDeleteStress is not only with employees. Stress is there in every context in the world. Job stress of employees directly impact to reduce the performance of the employees. If the HR department function well employees are not suffering with stress. Acourding to ulrich if employee champion role does the responsibility correctly there won't be the word stress in the organisation. To get the maxim contribution from employees functioning hr roles are very important.
